It looks like the police did a pit maneuver on the wagon....

That's a cryin' shame. My fourth vehicle was a '65 Dart 270 2-door sedan. I like the look of this '66 (last year for this body...) much better. I especially like the chrome trim going across the dash, although I'm not entirely sure this was stock. I would have loved to have this wagon.

It just about makes you sick doesn't it??? Then it makes you REALLY VERY ANGRY!!! And then you want to hurt those ignorant, selfcentered morons!!!

You know I think that after all the charges have been dealt with the owner of the car should be able to take anything of theirs and do whatever he likes with it...anything at all...cell phone, game console...bed anything

Or make them wear a sign like a sandwich board around their town telling everyone they are car theives

Or post photos around their town... or on facebook...and on twitter

    On yeah little Bast****

Man...if that was Fannie or Allover there would be assault charges...little Bast****

To add to the already inconceivable indecency of the crime, the wagon appeared to have handicapped plates prior to the theft. It's just not done.:naughty:

It really does. Maybe the pursuing officer just finished their driving course and didn't score as high as the others. A properly performed PIT shouldn't leave near that much damage.

This guy on that forum would be my first suspect. Someone already stole his brains and self esteem, WTH is he thinking?

We are talking about car thieves, some thing we don't know about finnaly led the car to the police being involved,.... what is a properly preformed PIT? If it stopped by police and the said car was undrivable/stopped then the PIT was done correct as long as no inocent people were hurt. It's a dam sad story about the wagon but we don't have any idea/info/detals as to what happened to have the car chashed and or crashed.

I've had a wagon stolen and smashed. The police found it all by it's self smashed. Had I have found out a police car smashd it to get if of the road well yes I wuld have questions. Had I heard that they, the police smashed it off the road beacause the thief would/could have killed some one else while being chased.........Smash my wagon! Then I'd be the first one to b**** about the police not shooting the thief.

This is a sad story with a bad ending, but we don't know the full details to make judgment as to why the wagon sadly got wreaked.

That boy reminds me of a joke I heard some time back about a big brawl at a put a while back. It goes that a fellow who, after many many years in the Navy, was retired and celebrating in a bar with some buddies, but they'd moved on to another pub and he was nursing his pop before heading home. He was sitting with a bunch of other old coggers just enjoying the quiet bar noises and smells and reminiscing with his friends. He'd been known for his famous drinking sessions in his younger years, but now he was down to having a gingerale like now, in the hopes that he could keep his liver working for a few more years to enjoy his Navy pension.

In walks "this kid in the picture" and the old guy can't help but stare. He's been all over the world and seen some pretty weird things, but this took the cake. The kid, with similar looking dudes all about him, gets huffy and says to the old guy "what the hell you looking at buddy?"

The old navy guy thinks for just a moment and says "well, young feller, I was known for my heavy drinking binges when I was in the navy, and for doing some pretty weird things on a bet once I was loaded, that I never thought I had actually done once I was sober."

To this the kid says "and what the hell does that have to do with staring at me?"

"Well, you see, about 24 years ago, in Shanghai, I woke up one morning with the worst hangover I had ever had. The guys were having a great time teasing me about my supposed escapade the night before and I though the twenty bucks in my pocket was them joking around and not my winnings from a bet. But dang it, after all these years, here's living proof. I'm just stunned is all, didn't mean no disrepect mind you".

To this the punk says "proof of what you old piece of crap"

"Well, kid, I never ever thought I would ever get so drunk and stupid as to make love to the zoo's peacock, but you walk in and now I'm faced with the truth of it."

Stealing that wagon is slimy at best. I have to hope that no one was in good enough shape after the crash to get out and run, unless of course the cop in pursuit was accompanied by a police dog. One that really enjoys the chase, the tackle, the nip here and there, particularly between the legs (twice), the hang on with the teeth and shake a few times kind of police dog. The kind of police dog that happens to be smart enough to see they stole a wagon with handicapped plates on it. That thought brings some pleasure to my mind, even if it is entirely fiction in the end.

That wagon can be fixed. Big big job. A donor wagon would help. Maybe the local Mopar community will step in and do something for the guy. Maybe someone on that forum should suggest it?
