A quick intro. My name is D.A. I run a small film company in Seattle. We make Hot Rod films (2 so far) and love the wagons and delivery's. Really into the Mopar stuff, but don't mind a Pontiac or Mercury now and then. My current project is not a wagon, but a 1966 Dodge Charger Gasser (straight axle the whole 9 yards). I am also thinking about building a 1960 Chrysler new Yorker Station Wagon as a converted Hearse. That's whats going on thanks!

1966 Charger Here's some build pics of the Charger. I know it's not a wagon- but here ya go. My buddy Chrs Darland is doing the fabrication. He's in Medford, Oregon. Unfortunately I'm in Seattle, so I haven't gotten much time in on the car. Chris recently got a 383 from a Dodge Monaco that will go into the car until I can afford an older HEMI (or crate engine).

Welcome D.A.! Cool rides. I remember the Massachusetts State troopers ran Hemi Chargers back then. My dad was driving his 1958 Hemi-powered Imperial on cruise control at 110 MPH when one of them pulled alongside and waved dad to the next turn-off. He was trying to warn us to not go in the direction we were travelling, and turn off another way. Well the Trooper and my dad got talking Hemis. Almost an hour's worth of jawing! He lead us to the right turn off, and the 2 of them decided to race on a clear stretch on the Boston turnpike. We had 8 people in ours and luggage for 2 weeks. We stayed with him up to about 90 MPH, and then he took off, like we were standing still. That's the day my old man decided to build a racing machine!
1960 Chrysler Wagons I though about it. Gonna take some looking either way. I am gonna build a 1/25th scale version first to see how it'll look. Got the kit from ModelHause. I was also looking at a 1965 Fury Wagon that was only $1,0000 on eBay. Love the stacked headlamps of the Furys, but the the 1960 Chrsyler had those wicked tail fins.
Hey, welcome from a fellow Mopar guy who likes everything! Very cool Charger, the straight axle stuff has really come on strong in the past five years. Nothing looks more nasty than a straight axle car coming at you. Keep up the good work, looking forward to seeing progress pics! Arvid Svendsen
I was watching a Mexican news site this morning. They broke for commercials and up comes this new Jeep ad, showing a small screen display telling the driver that he's close to some rocks in the road, and the thing raises up the frontend to go over them. I laughed my a$$ off! Straight front axle with a couple hydraulic pistons to lift her up. Wild!
