You definitely have a long term project, so don't get discouraged or give up. Do it all slowly if you Don't have the $$$ to do a lot right now. I post pictures here using Photobucket with no problems I just click the picture direct link code and paste it on the picture icon when I post. Check this thread for inspiration. http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5488
To bad your not a little closer...we have a parts car for sale on Kijiji. Where's Normy...what's the name of that place in Arizonia..Dessert something? They did have one there when I was looking for parts for Fannie.
I did get a parts car for it, a 69 Chevelle sedan, only thing I am missing now is the drivers door glass, the parts car is a 2 door an won't work. Been doin this sort of thing for a long time and have accumulated a LOT of parts over the years so running gear is already waiting to be dropped in, I do body and paint by trade, and have a good friend who does upholstery so....................... possibly by mid summer drivable, finished bout this time next year.
I like it, definitely one of the best years for a Chevelle. For the price, you can't go wrong... looking forward to updates. Arvid Svendsen
Well in that case it's to bad I wasn't closer to you I'm sure you will have no problem finding a door glass...keep us posted...would love to see your progress.
I know there was a wagon...it has a big dent in the quarter panel. That's what we need for Fannie. We're going to use El Camino panels...can't get wagon panels anywhere!
Try this place, but I have to warn you and anyone that contacts this place be prepared for rust issues. http://www.classiccarsofsc.com/
Just a touch of rust. The great thing is, is you are going to get her back on the road. Good luck and keep us posted.
