Oh my, does that ever look like fun. The only thing missing was his wife, in a wagon with an umbrella, being towed behind.

At the Monroe, WA swap meet the area set aside for handicapped parking has grown it seems every year. The number of scooters going up and down the ailes is surprising - well, sort of. When we first spied them we were saying not a chance. A couple of swap meets (years) later, we were thinking envious thoughts as we got about 2/3's of the way through and were exhausted, achy, and bitchy. :oops:mg:Now we are at the stage of looking at how some of the people have hotrodded theirs and thinking........some day, if we ever really had to, we suppose we could live with one done up like that.

Been going to Carlisle since 1978, and in the old days, you couldn't walk the entire fairgrounds, because you would be weighed down with all you bought on just one row. Now, the pickings are much slimmer, but the paved roads make it much nicer. I bought a 3 wheeled scooter about 4 years ago, and it has made Carlisle a much easier place to visit.

With a scooter like that, they'll put speedtraps inside the malls on Boxing Day sales.:yahoo:
