I wouldn't put the hitch back on. Unless you want to pull with it. If you get the Silverstream bug, you can always install it later.

Norm...you too!? I can't do the arm over the seat back turn around anymore. Well...I COULD, but, it ain't worth it!

 

My own stupid fault. I jumped off my trailer with a 60 lb bag of cement in my arms, and didn't bend my knees. I felt a 'crunch' and just knew I'd pay for it. The really dumb part is that somehow, during the night, I put my arm up over my ear, so's I don't hear my wife snoring (full lumbermill grade quality.) and it'll hurt all morning. Chiropractor settles it down for week, but I think I'll get back on the Canadian Military 5BX excersize program, and build up the back muscles, and maybe straighten out the 5th vertebrae too boot.

I'm in good shape, even at my teenage weight and build, still. But a few pushups and situps won't hurt.

 

I am picking up my four 1967 door handles that I had rechromed at M&P Refinishing in Jeannette PA! I will post up pictures sometime later today. They were full of pits and were in very bad shape. Cant wait to see what they look like now.

I'm not the seller, but I noticed on e-bay that someone has NOS 67 Country Squire woody molding for the right rear quarter and tailgate trim. Of course, then you would need to make all the remaining pieces look just as nice. If you need the trim, good luck with the e-bay auction.

You have to have it custom made. Call the guys at http://www.restorationspecialties.com/

They are located in windber pa. You will have to send them your original rubber and they will make one for you.

I sent them to a local Chrome shop called M and P Refinishing located in Jeanette PA. Its not cheap.

One could easily just buy repops for less from Macs or Dearborn Classics if they had a 1965-66 wagon. Unfortunately, the 1967 ford wagons can only use 1967-1968 and the front vs rear are different. No one makes them for those years!!

I really had only two options, find some nice original ones to put on, or get mine redone. There are not too many nice 40+ year old ones out there..I looked

 

After taking a huge break from working on the Squire, I am getting back to work.

We will be moving the wagon to a new location, where I will have more space and equipment to finish the interior. I am shooting for completing this later this summer!

I was really held up by not being able to kneel on my left knee after surgery in October. I could walk, run, and even ski but I could not kneel until recently. That limitation makes it very tough to work on an interior!

I will post up pics of the move and any progress we make.

 

Drivers side Front and rear door handles installed. It was tough to get them working right. After the buttons were rechromed, the posts needed to be filed down since they would no longer clear thru the springs.
