Glad to find a wagon-specific forum. I have a '69 Dodge Monaco wagon, that I picked up this summer. It needs some work, but it's in decent shape. I'll try to post a couple pics... Bob
Thanks... It has a 383, 2bbl single exhaust originally, 4bbl dual exhaust now, and electronic ignition. The interior is black, and in great shape. There is some rust in the usual places, but runs well. It's definitely worth the effort.
Very nice. Looks like a 69 Monaco wagon that was at the Spring Fling Mopar show in California when I was there last year. See post #7 of this thread http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7076&highlight=carlisle+spring+fling
Welcome Bob! I see the mopar guys have found you already. Great fun here, and lots of ingenuity. Your wagon looks awesome. I think you understate it.
Thanks for the warm welcomes. I am definitely a haver of fun, so that's the plan. As far as what I mentioned about the wagon needing some work... It doesn't show in the photos, but I will post some as I begin my project. There is some rust behind the front wheels, and the front subframe and suspension parts have a decent amount, too. All manageable, and will allow me to learn as I go. Really, it's totally worth the effort, just more than what I could see when I went to pick it up. I'm just glad to have found it. Honestly, to have picked up a '68 Charger in this condition would have cost 10x what I paid for this, so I am happy with that. I'm glad to be here, and will check the place out.... Bob
