Jeez, Ted.. I know the feeling of strange parts inside.. Glad you can see the irony in my reply. Hope for gods sake that everybody knows how greatful i am for just having pain in my shoulder, and that i can go out and get me, just about any job that i feel like. I have friends and family that arent that lucky, thats been in crashes not at all as serious as mine, who really dont have the choice that i have because of their bad luck.. I really feel for you, an for all the other badluckbrothers out there that isn´t as lucky as i am.......... This another side of the perspective, that i really didn´t think about right now, in my lithania of felling sorry for my self.
BTW On the humoristic side of this life i live... We have snow falling down, slowley, in BIG flakes making the world go all white and fuzzy.. My wife just moved here from the south parts of sweden, so she will be all smiles when i get her in the paintshop.. She LOVES the snow, and so does the dogs, so my friday will be beautiful!!!
You have a great attitude, 2low. I doubt much of anything will stop you from enjoying life. I hope you heal up real soon and find the work that will keep you happy. You and Mrs 2low are good for each other and, together, you will always enjoy a good life. Many people search a lifetime for "happiness and success" ignoring the wonderful things they already have. You and Mrs 2low recognize what you have and attack life with gusto. I think we are lucky that you found our little wagon family. Your appreciation of life, through good times and bad, is a a delightful tableau and makes us all a little happier and more appreciative of what we have in our respective lives. I hope you will always be a contributing member of our wagon family.
Sore shoulder? Me too, for two reasons. A few years ago, i jumped off the back of my small trailer with a small 60 lb bag of cement in my arms, but I didn't bend my knees. Didn't feel any pain, but I felt a slight snap at the base of the spine (the bone is Y shaped and joins to the hip bones) (Its the main axis for the suspension, rear wheels, drive shaft, etc. ). Went to a chiropractor and discovered that I did some minor torquing, not permanent damage. She wouldn't take X-rays, but was quite happy to charge $20 per bi-weekly visit, to adjust it. 5th vertebrae took the most of it, so it kinks up, and makes one shoulder lower than the other. Push ups and situps also take that away. The second reason, is that if my wife snores, sometime during the night, I raise my left arm up over my head to stop hearing the buzz-saw cutting a 100 year-old Oak Tree! (shhh, don't say anything.) If I pinched her nose, I fill a truck tire with 100 PSI! So the shoulder hurts some mornings, and others, not.
