I'm going to talk to a recruiter today about joining the Indiana State Guard. I'm too old for the National Guard (43), so I thought this might be a challenge for me. It's kinda like the Militia, only endorsed and run by the Indiana Governor. Wadda you think? I do look good in Army green!!;)

I would have to hear a lot more about what the "state" guard is and does. Never heard of such a thing.

I've heard that they jump in with rescues, emergency strategies, riot control. Something like that, anyway.

    Good luck with the posting.(y)

Yep, they help in disasters, riots, general unrest, ect. Sometimes they take over when the National Guard leaves. Many states have state guards. There's not too much criteria, as long as you can move well and protect yourself. Do a search for your state's Guard Reserve and you'll probably find it.
And no, I'm not going to paint my wagon camo. If I did that, I'd never find it in the yard!!

It's one Saturday a month, then a weekend training phase.
The wagon will not be neglected!!
