Almost bought a late 50's Sierra once,but it was a little more expensive than we could afford,at the time.The hood was different than yours.Something similar to a small bumper up front.Chevron shaped.The car was two-toned,a rootbeer float colour and white.No seat belts either.The wife was worried about the kids.
I think the hood ornaments are different for the 55 and 56. These two years are similar body styles and different from before and after these two years. It makes finding parts difficult. This car was originally black and white.
Hey, I think I bought some parts from you on eBay. I have a 55 Dodge Coronet Suburban 2 door wagon. If you are who I think you are, you sent me the info to install a Dakota front clip on the 55/56 Dodge frame. I joined this site a few weeks ago. Pretty neat. Still trying to find out how things work on here. I think I finally got some pics on my site. But not sure. Claude
