FT, so glad to hear you're on the mend. Too bad I don't live any closer. I'd go to WalMart, get an air mattress and throw it in the back of the wagon and take you and the dogs for a joyride!

At least the dogs would probably behave themselves.

Welcome back Tedy. My home computer has a nasty virus so I haven't been on as much as usual. Glad to hear all went well.
It sounds to me the doctors did to you what alot of us have done to our wagons. Instead of the minuscus being torn, the right rear fenders by the wheellip were rusted through. Instead of cartilage floating around, there were little rusted remnants of steel. Instead of removing the cartilage, we had the rust taken out of there and instead of trimming the meniscus, we had to trim back to unrusted, healthy and robust steel. Your rupend lining was smoothed just as our welds were.
Hey, maybe you can show your restored knee off now at the next car show you go to!!

Seriously, though, I hope the recuperation period isn't too long and you're back to your healthy and mobile self before you know it.

Cessna pilots have a good one too. Universal fit, hangs off the target 'appendage'.:slap:

Tedy = we saw in Princess Auto yesterday, hanging on their wall, P holder. We were, well, lets just say blown away. It was big (not that any of us are admitting to being "small" if you get my drift), and it looked like it was set up for multiple useage. We discussed the hygenics of something like that attached to say the console and agreed that if we came home with something like that we'd be wearing it around our necks before it ever got installed in any of the vehicles.
