Station Wagonites, I just recently found your forum. I have a 1991 Mercury Colony Park that my parents bought new. It's been handed down through my siblings, and now I've got it and am trying to get it in shape, though it's in fairly good condition already. I'm missing one piece of trim (passenger side rear fender) if anyone has one. It's going to be repainted (same color) this year. And I have a secret idea for the "wood" paneling! Welcome aboard Benjamin! Fine looking wagon. It's tough to find trim parts for these, because there weren't many made, but sometimes, a dealer can find them for you, from Ford's own parts warehouses. I'd try your biggest dealer locally to do a parts search on their system, because your's is one of the last. the core part number for that piece is 6629066, so for 1991 it would be something like F1xx-6629066-yy. The yy would mean Left or Right (AB or BB, most likely). BUT, Ford/mercury used the similar profile across many years, maybe back to 1988 or 1987, so it might start as E8xx-6629066-yy. Your dealer could tell you for sure. That would help you use some of Parts Search engines on nationwide junkyard parts finding systems. Thanks for the Welcomes and Advice! I appreciate the comments and suggestions. Another quick question. A couple years back, I had new tires put on my wagon, and when I got there the wagon looked so different! I finally realized it was because the new tires did not have any whitewalls. I guess the tires I had on it before were really old. Anyway, next time I need tires I'd like to get whitewalls (the original size) so it looks original. Any of y'all have experience with this? We're gonna have to hold back on drooling for a bit, it seems. Grandwagon, you won't find this tip on many websites, but you do remember those pocket-protectors from the '50s and '60s, right? Well, we need keyboard protectors, because when we get an overdose of pixels, we drown the keyboards. But, just in case he missed the point. We need at least our daily fix of pix.
