Too late for you TBird, except for your Tbirds! Fox upgraded Lincoln Sun Visors. No pics, but great description!: http://home.earthlink.net/~jopeterson/SunVisors.htm Main page: http://home.earthlink.net/~jopeterson/index.htm
Ooo, that's classy. Never saw the TBird visors before. Nice. I forgot you upgraded them in the Cooga. We got a pair for Andy out of a newer Mustang (1990-ish) with the intermediate supports. I got the Map light in the middle from the same Mustang. These Lincoln visors are shaped like yours, but wider, so I have to nip 'n tuck and use an extra pair of rear coat 'hooks' as supports, because the map light takes the room in the center, for the Lincoln visor support.
When it gets that hot, even the worms out run me. We get heavy dew at night or early morning showers, and I walk my wife to the busstop. I see those poor worms struggling across the sidewalk, some fried to it, and I wonder how I'll look after a day under the tarp. It got to 123F once under there, even though it was 93 in the sun. I drank more liquids than a drunk on intravenous. I break out in blisters in no time flat without the tarp.
I know what mean. I put another carburetor on the wagon last night, had to wait till 8:30, it was still 95F. It's parked in a tent, ON FUN! Had to get it done. It goes to shop tomorrow to get the AC charged.
Man, that's a nice long one or did you join 2 of those? I lift the bottom edges of mine to get some air moving, if there is any, and that slows down the sweat to a mere river, instead of a flood.
Toasty! At 140 degrees and my hotwater heater would have stopped. Instant on-damand hotwater heater set for 135F.
Nope it's one piece, Got it from Northern Tool it was well worth the $$.I think it was about 450.00. It has six two foot augers in the ground and it bolts to the frame. The year I first put it up ( it was Christmas day ) we had 70 mph winds, nasty storm. It never moved, but the 300 foot redwood at the end of the property did.:banghead3: It uprooted and fell just in the right place, Along the edge of a drop off the goes straight down to the creek.
It looks about 25 feet long or more. Your wagon is about 17 feet and its all in with room in front and back. I've seen them here in 20 foot lengths for about $400.
I think it is 20ft. I see allot of people buy the cheep ones with thin pipe or plastic frames that wont last one year or one good storm.
