Just bought my first wagon (if you dont count a 1960 VW panel bus i owned). Its a 1962 Ford Country Squire with a 352/Cruise-O-Matic etc. Its gonna need some work, especially the interior which is gutted. Pics to follow! cheers~Nailz
to the wagon train, nailz. Nice wagon for sure. Don't worry about flaws...we love pix and I can't wait to see them. Glad to have you as a member of our family!
Welcome Nailz! Squires really set the standard for wagon luxury back in the day. Looking forward to photos.
Welcome aboard, Nailz. I don't think there's a one of us who doesn't love vintage Squires. What color is it and do you know any of its history? Post some pictures as soon as you can.
, and as mentioned, don't wory about pics. We like pics, those wagons ager to die for, even if they need a bit of TLC
Welcome Nailz. Progress pics are always a hit here. Helps us shorten the learning curves on our own. Don't be shy. Warts and all, right to the final wheel nut.
Gawd! Where's the warts!? The wagon is in fine form and that Sunliner got my keyboard all wet with drool. Go get 'em.
Love those slab sides on the '62s. That Sunliner is amazing, and the CS might even be fun to leave as is, but I'm sure will be a stunner when you're done. Kudos! :2_thumbs_up_-_anima
Yup....that wagon definitely has a great patina. I would fix up the inside and any mechanicals and drive it!
A sharp Naugahyde interior and a minty, blingy powertrain and frame and a pair of curb feelers for nostalgia.
Different strokes. I wouldn't want to fix up the inside or engine bay TOO much. It wouldn't go with the exterior patina. Any way you look at it....I like that car!
