....was browsing autotrader..... this is AWSOME!!! http://www.autotraderclassics.com/c...ml:uShipController.init&conversationId=262051
Maybe he'll like this one...... I was a custom van guy way back, they do bring back a 70's feel to me. I'm not a big fan of murals like on the Dodge but can to the painter, thats talent. Mine was a real nice 74 Ford shorty, stupid shiny burgandy, real fat mags, real sharp interiour, mirrors in the bed area....I had alot of fun and memories with that one I look at my self today.....I'll stick with wagons
Huggy Bear, your pimp-a-home is available....... "The car is powered by a 318 V8 that has no problem getting this thing down the road. What is so custom about the engine you ask? Well, its located underneath the dash! There was no room in the engine compartment so this V8 was custom mounted right inside the cab. No, you idiot. It was designed that way........from the factory.
He probably sells bridges too! Tedy, That red van is copulating. What's on top, and the wings should keep them down on the ground!
There's one in portage, with a mural of something, can't tell what but there's lightening bolts and flames on the nose. I always say I need that, a Trans Am with blue fenders, a red hood, black doors, and a white everything else, and to move to the trailer park.
Don't forget the boom box. Heck of way to impress the trailer park neighbours. Man! Tom, what a great age for you. You've got access to info and skills from everything since the steam engine all the way up to solar-powered speed demons. I had my wild design and speed days, and I really enjoyed them all. Now I look for the subtle things that give a decent car last even longer than the first 31 years. I hope you get to test out all your ideas. You'll be a serious resource for the guys and gals the follow.
Normie, I hope I do too, but odds are that I'll probably end up driving and building things like my Caprice the rest of my life LOL. But hopefully someday the wagon forums will still be around when I'm an old fart, and some teenager will come along who bought a wagon and I can help him out just like all of you have for me over the years.
THAT!!! is an atrocity! the Japanese have some strange taste. i hate wings and can take or leave murals. the sad part is ..the fad in japan now is vans and wagons...espescially american vans and wagons if they can get them! ....how bout retinal damage!!! OXYMORON!!!!!
^^^^ I don't understand this at all. It seems though, that Japanese car culture is tied into cartoons (can't think of that Japanese art/cartoon word right now) I just don't get the relationship there.....
Ian, you're right, for now. I meant Steam speed demons: http://www.iaasp.org/ Up here, they run an annual Solar-powered car distance race, not speed. Here's one for a 1970's Aussie Falcon: http://www.pritchardpower.com.au/technology.aspx
