so last week we returned from a vacation in Osoyoos, BC. while we were there we went on a "garage tour". I have include some pics of wagons.
the 52 Ford ranch wagon is for sale for $1500- it apparently has all the running gear (not actually running I would guess), but is missing the glass and lots of other stuff. There is also a 1953 Sedan Delivery(no picture) for $500, that is rough. It does have the side hinged rear door though. The 1950 Plymouth 2 dr wagon is also $1500. it looks incomplete, but not sure what all is missing other than the front fender. These cars are located near Tonasket, Washington

The last picture is a couple of wagons that are at a buddies place near Osoyoos in BC. They may or may not be for sale. He thinks "SELL" is a 4 letter word.

The 55 ford 4 dr wagon in the first picture is for sale for $3000- the note says "was running" - We just aren't sure when.

Some good old pre-roadsalt (1965-ish) iron in them thar rockies. Your buddy's right - it hurts too much to sell a family pet.

I'm thinking that's a '61 Olds, am I right? I think the Buick's a '69, but I can't see the side marker light good enough to know for sure.

Full-sized '61 and '62 Olds wagons looked very similar from the back. So this one I'm note sure.

On a side note, I love the look of the '61 / '62 big Olds front end, but kinda hate the wagon back end with the smallish, curvy taillights.

The Olds is a 1962. Apparently the P.O. started it, let it idle to charge the battery, and forgot about it. When he remembered, it had stopped running, and would not start again. not a lack of fuel problem. so it may or may not require some major engine work. I considered getting the Olds myself, but I realized I have more projects already than I forsee getting done. But then it sure would look great with a set of wheels and some lowering.........Hmmmmm
I am not sure what year the Buick is.

If anyone cares, that Plymouth wagon is a '53 not a '50. Doesn't look all that bad (at least the visible body and glass look intact).

Let it idle to charge the battery and forgot about it:deadhorse:

And a cheap batery charger costs how little?
