Kinda hard to tell from the pic, but I'm dam sure these wheels are exactly like the Buicks but with "Olds" center caps.

I remember these wheels on Buicks back in the day, but don't ever recall seeing them on a Olds.

I hope I get them, I'll have summer tires on one set and winter tires on the other and the car would look the same.

Now I wait and sweat because the only contact is via email. I'm also gona ask about the wagon too!;)

Yeah, those are the Buick wheels, and as you said, I don't think they were offered on the Olds. At least back in the 70's, it seemed most GM makes issued their own wheels. Wonder what the big Olds center cap came from?

    Guy's got a flat, too.......

They are a 80's rim for sure not 70's, and I also remember GM making it's own wheels for it's different makes. I noticed the flat tire also, I also noticed the 2 pics were taken at differnt times...1st pic has what looks to be a caprice in front while the flat tire pic has a bout in front. The boat pic kinda has me wondering, the windows have that "damp" look to them. Thats one thing that can ruin a rust free mint interiour island car fast from the inside out if it sits and never gets a air change regular on the island (winter/rain season). But for now I sit and wait......I have crappy luck perioud with sellers who don't post a phone #:banghead3:

Most of my cars live out side, every non rain day I open all windows etc to let them breath, Mold is my concern and I've seen to many get destroyed because of it.

I'll see the wheels tommorw and the seller works a stone through way from me so he's going to bring them to my work. I don't even have to get of my lazy @** to view them:thumbs2:

The wagon in the pics is long gone, but the seller said he drove it for over 10 years and says that these wheels were a option for the Customs, he clearly knows stuff about the 80's GM wagons. Iether way I have a good feeling I'll be buying them.

Seller is a long trem wagon nut also, I told him about the site, and I told him about the Rodie for sale here.....

    He is interested.

Well, I got my wheels and am very happy with the deal, Jeff the seller is a old wagon nut and knew a hell of alot about our Buick.....stuff that I had no clue on:oops:. I have the optional ride level for the rear, it's unpluged though so I'll be looking into that, and alot of other things that I just did'nt know.

Good wagon BS section at work, although a few people saw that my hood was up, so the first thing they all asked is..."Everything alwrite with the wagon". We both chuckled because, who looks under hoods anymore. Then my phone went off and I had to inside for a minute, as I walked away Jeff said, "Ill close your hood so nobody else thinks your broken down"

He is going to go look at the Rodie tommorow.

Great buy, those Olds centers are very hard to find. I'm Jealous. I believe you could only get those wheels on the OCC's for '87-'90. If you find the right person you could sell your centers for more than you paid for the whole shoot'n match.

Strangely, I have already been introduced.

Yup, I'm Jeff with the Custom Cruiser Wagon. It was a 1990 and seemed to have additional options such as the wheels and a couple of other things that when I looked on other Olds wagons, they didn't have. There was the fiber optic fender signal indicators that I didn't see on all the wagons, and the passive restraint weird seatbelt things that I was never very thrilled with. This car did EVERYTHING I needed it to. I used it as a moving truck, a dog kennel, a tractor, a tent. It was unbelievable. I drove it for about 10 years. The pictures above were when I first bought the car. The one with the dry windows was within the first week of owning the car. The one with the flat tire was the first day of bringing it home and finding out that it had a leak in the rear tire. I bought the car for $1500 with 127000kms. Driving it to work over the years got me the nickname, the CORONER.
Sadly, the car ended up sitting for the last few years and was difficult to keep clean. The engine would start up and run very well but the tranny developed a leak that required me to pull it for repair. Usual electronic things ended up annoying me enough to stop driving it such as the low coolant bonger that drove me insane after replacing every sensor and the engine check light that predated OBDII that just wasn't worth dealing with. I would have been interested in repairing all of those things if the car just had a bit more poop but a 307 isn't meant to go that fast.
I have switched over to 1990's Crown Victorias but I have always missed the convenience of a wagon and have always wanted a 95-96 GM wagon. I'm off to look at the Buick tonight. We'll see what happens. I usually do most of my own work unless it's transmission oriented so I should be able to fix the rear end for not too much money. I'm almost tempted to buy back the Olds that I sold for $100 to a kid to get the rear end back.:)
Ted, you probably scored on those caps. I have been meaning to ebay those off but I'm happier that they went to a wagon nut.
I'll post some pics of the Olds wagon in action over the last decade later tonight...when I give you an update on the Roadmaster.

Sure was, but thanks for the tip on the Forum Ted! Somehow, I think I'll need the Wisdom of the Forum for my next purchase.

Just out of curiosity, can you tell me a price or location or any other details about this black Roadmaster? Does it have the LT1?
