Here's a picture of dad's '55 210 wagon in front of our house in Catonsville, MD when we lived there. Dad bought the car new in Morgantown, WV when we lived there and we moved to Catonsville, MD and then to Brandenburg, KY in late 1959. Next year, the '55 would be traded in on a brand new '60 Chevrolet Parkwood wagon at Lamar Allen Motor Sales in Brandenburg. The only thing wrong with the old' 55 when it was traded was a dent in the rear door where it was hit by a golf ball


In one more month I'll turn 5 years old. I'm holding my spiffy captain's hat and am visiting my great-grandfather and great-grandmother Conner and my cousin Johnny Johnson when we were visiting Princeton, WV. Great-grandfather was foreman of the blacksmith shop for the Virginian Railway locomotive shops.

Hey, I didn't know the Unabomber had a 59 Ford wagon!! What in the world is that guy towing in #1543 and seeing how close it is the rear of the car, I can't help but wonder how the guy ever made turns.

 

Don't know what he's towing, but it looks like it's position is fixed with the wagon's rear bumper, and the single rear wheel would pivot to go around corners.
Look close at the Unibomber's 59, at the grille and the two tone treatment. Its Canadian.
