    Where did you get that info from? I had a 76 Malibu(same car from 73-77 with mild sheetmetal differences) as does my cousin who is restoring a 75, they both run 4.75 and they are both the largest Chevy car of their era. The full size Wagons and Caddys both ran the 5 on 5. ALL GMC and Chevy 1/2 ton 2wd trucks and vans that ran 5 bolt wheels run on 5 on 5, they ran NOTHING but 5 on 5. ALL Astro and Safari vans that ran 5 bolt wheels also used 5 on 5, as they used the drivetrain of the 1/2 ton pickups. 91-96 Caprice, Roadmaster and Custom Cruiser(91-92) were all 5 on 5, be them sedan or wagons.

    My winter rims on the '96 Caprice 9C1 are off a truck. Had 'em powdered coated, they look great.

    Not sure where you got YOUR info, but the Malibu was an A-body (midsize) from 1964-1981 (the platform was given the G-body designation in 1982) and it was far from the largest Chevy of their era. Google Caprice/Impala, which was the full size Chevy (the B-body) and which used the 5 x 5" bolt circle from 1971-1976, as I noted in my prior post. Starting with the 1977 model year, GM downsized the B-body cars - they actually used based them on the chassis used on the 1973-77 A-body cars. The A-bodies were similarly downsized in 1978. A-body/G-body cars used the 5 x 4.75" bolt circle for their entire 1964-1988 production life.

    Compare the figures, the Chevelle Malibu was just a mid-size model

    1976 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu / Chevelle Malibu Classic:

    Wheelbase coupe/sedan/wagon = 116 inches

    Overall lenght:

    Coupe = 205.3 inches
    Sedan = 209.3 inches
    Wagon = 215.2 inches

    Width:

    Coupe/sedan = 76.6 inches
    Wagon = 76.8 inches

    1976 Chevrolet Impala / Caprice:

    Wheelbase coupe/sedan = 121.5 inches
    Wheelbase station wagon = 125 inches

    Overall lenght:

    Coupe/sedan = 222.9 inches
    Wagon = 228.6 inches

    Width = 79.5 inches

    Email sent, Erik.
    Can someone refresh my memory as to how to post pix from my "my pictures" again? I must be doing something wrong. I've done it in the past but now they aren't showing up here. I click on the paper clip, go to the pic, open it, upload it and it doesn't transfer.

    If you use the board option to show images, try changing the names of the photos.
    Maybe someone already used "My_SS_Wagon_1" and "My_SS_Wagon_2" ?

    I've posted these before like this. I don't know what happened? These pix are in my computer under "my pictures". They aren't in an outside place. I have to be doing something wrong. I'm not a good puter person. Don't even understand what you just said, LOL.
    Thanks for posting the pix. Now that I see them...they really don't do justice to those wheels. I get comps on them all the time.

    Mike, a lot of wheels get 'dated' in their 'look', even new bling wheels put out now, but those Chevy rallyes are timeless.......they'll always look fantastic.

    Ah, so there are already photos with the same names present on the board.
    That's why you can't upload them again using the same names:

    "My_SS_Wagon_1" and "My_SS_Wagon_2"

    (You sent me the photos and they are named like that)

    Go to "My photos" on your computer, select the photos and change the name under the photo.
    After doing so, try to upload them again in this thread (with the new names)
