    Did you notice the sign on the Maple Leaf said it was air conditioned? That's so funny. I remember when that was a big deal that a place had ac. It was almost a reason to go to a restaurant, regardless of whether the food was good or not, just to get some cool air!

    Yup....right on, snoot. An AC joint after riding in a sweltering car was a real treat!(y)

    Up here, that only mattered in Toronto, during the summer, and the Prairie dustbowl in Saskatchewan and southern Alberta. Toronto is right on Lake Ontario and often hit 95 and 100 F with 60% humidity. You couldn't move without leaving a sweat trail, like a garden slug.:slap:
