Wagons in vintage Street scenes

Ah, the weekly carshow. Days gone forever. The art of car design shifting again.

 

I think I'd take the Mercedes over the wagon across the street. I know it's blasphemous.

 

Dude, that style Mercedes (bout 1955) is about the only one I'd ever drive (a Gullwing being the other) but that wagon looks like a Buick Roadmaster!

Think I'd have to go with the wagon.

 

There's a Buick wagon just like that one that was on the forum a little while back. I've also seen one in the same color, in a few different movies.

 

Sorry I haven't been around much in the last few weeks. Work has a way of keeping me away from all the fun sometimes.

Notice all the different colors of all the cars from back then.....Red...Aqua/white....Blue/white....Blue....Yellow.....Seafoam green. They were so cheerful.

Go there day and we'd see...silver....liquid silver....gray....dark gray..... light gray.....white......More silver.....More gray.....

 

...black, silver blue, metallic black, charcoal metallic, refridgerator white, more silver, and more black.

 

Yup.....soon we will look just like the old Soviet Union. One car model. In black. Hell....all the cars LOOK the same NOW!

 

That's the main reason I like the bright blue of my Focus - really stands out. I've also only seen two or three in this color.....
