Probably down around Whidby Island, prepping for the summer Jazz Festival, or St. Louis, MO.

Sure makes sandals the most viable footwear out here. And the chicks - ok, hens, like 'em.:tiphat:. Now, about those snow shoes you guys wear, I got to thinking about it and now I know why the carpets in your wagons are so worn out:yahoo:.

:slap: Oh man Rev, given the DW is about to turn 60 in a few months I need a :drink:

Hey Fox, out here given the City of White Rock which is near where I live has a large large large number of seniors, and given husbands die younger than wives, there's a ton of widows running around out there. The trick is to find one that owns property, owns and likes a hotrod, is very rich, still kinda cute, doesn't have a bunch of kids who see mom as their retirement fund, and isn't in to line dancing

Of course the thing is, they are often widowed young for a reason....:slap:

We learned in shop class that the reason men die before their husbands is because they usually want too.

There is a good chance that this won't happen. He won't drive a Chev. At least anywhere were someone might see him. If he did, he might have more that ran, HAHA *ZING*. But he does have most excellent Bermuda that he should be driving. Now THATS a stylish wagon!

It's been awhile scince I have done an update, so I fugured I would shoot off a quick one. The body of the car is mostly in primer. There are a couple spots at the rear underside of the car that need attention, but when they are done, it will be ready for paint.
Here are some ****ty cel phone pix. More to come.

As for the frame, it will be heading off to the sandblasters to be cleaned, and then off to the powdercoater. I have the Air Ride Technologies kit with upper and lower control arms front and rear reweady for instalation, and my front disc brake conversion from MBM Brakes are ready as well. Pics to come when I take em.
And finally the motor. I had a 283 sitting in my shop that I took outta the car. Over the years I had never bothered to check the cast #, and I thought it was the original out of the car. I was wrong. It is out of a 67. And it's a 1 year only '67 283, so you know anyone looking for one, let me know. Anyway, so the guy thats bulding my motor says, "So scince it's not the original motor, how about a '65 327 out of a Vette." I said, "Yes please". So, I am awaiting my Dart heads to get here, and we can start assembly on that.
And thats were I stand right now. More to come as we progress........

Lookin good. Can't wait until you're done and you can put the after picture next to the before. I already can see it's going to be hard to believe it's the same car.

Holy smokes, ya coulda knocked me over with a keyboard + sign when I saw this post. Very nice. If you keep that momentum up you'll be in great shape in a couple of months, tooling down the highways and byways, vintage boat in tow, man, you'll be wowing the civilians.
