Whats great about our cars is there is now a whole generation of kids who've never seen one except in the Griswolds Vacations, or Harry and the Hendersons. So when they see us on the street they stare in wide eyed amazement. Ive been noticing this for a while, the little kids staring out of minivans and large SUVs.

The other night i was sitting in my Colony Park waiting on a friend to meet me to eat. This mother dragging a little girl who was dragging a smaller boy, walked thru the spot next to mine and the little boy just stared with his mouth open the whole time they were walking by. After they passed the car I hear him yell, " Mom, That Car is AWESOME!" :rofl2:

i thought how funny out of a little black kid, i dont even have 22"s hahaha

Alright, I know I have been promising for a while that I would put some family photos up.

Here's the first. My Uncle Frank standing next to his Plymouth Valiant wagon. This is at the family farm in Kennewick. Photo was taken Thanksgiving, 1967.

    Now some of "My car"
This Photo was taken Memorial Day weekend 1966. It is at my Great Grandmother's house in Ellensburg. In the photo are numerous aunts, uncles, my Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Grandfather.

This is from the same weekend, most likely taken at the same time. Again, some aunts, uncles, a cousin of theirs (or two).

    And my car.

I was the kid who loved history growing up (and ended up majoring in it in college). Being able to touch, and feel things that other's have throughout time has always fascinated me. These photos are so amazing to me it is almost indescribable.

I absolutely love this one! Uncle, aunt, uncle! No idea who is up front. (probly another uncle). I think it's interesting that the rear seat is folded down for cargo.

Looking at these pictures I can't believe how nice and ultra clean the car is! Then I come to my senses and realize it was only two years old at the time!

Still have those original "WASH 63" plates.

Ok. Now this one is perhaps my favorite of the bunch. It sort of has a "Grapes of Wrath" feel to it. This photo was taken on the Orthmann family farm in 1965.

One of my aunts is in the foreground, one of my uncles is being a kid and hamming it up for the camera, and Grandpa is off to do something cuz he just can't stay still (even now, always roaming the yard with a shovel looking for a project)

And in the dirt floor garage, the Fury.

This one isn't as old as the others, but was probly taken in 1988 (holy crap! 22 years ago!) Siblings, cousins and I. Man, even then the Fury looked purty dang good!

You were out-cycled! Great picture. Your other pics come from mail.live.com and they don't show up. Since mail.live requires your password, I think you'll have to save them to disk and upload. If they're anything like this, well you can't hold out now.
