Must not forget the Captain's Helm in a Land Yacht:

Steering wheel restoration, they're in Auzzieland, with service to us North Americans. Nice work, might have stock replacements:

This way, the driver isn't the Fifth Wheel, the hitch tongue is. :)

IIRC, the older Full-sized Ford Wheels had a notch on the back side of the hub to activate the trigger that disabled the signal lever/switch.

Its another trip through the hobby's online museum. Where have the artists gone in this industry? So many lost arts...

Thanks. It's just that he's doing an equally low-level, down to the rivets strip-down, and I know where the pot-holes are, so I figure he'll have a better shot at following through to a proud finish if he's well-armed with good pot-hole tools.

Brian, this is a 1967-1972 Pickup truck site, but they cover everything on door stripping with pics, tools, etc., Engines, Trannies, and a whole sh*twagon more. :)

There's more here on 1967 Fords, in generic info, than some of the original manuals I have from Ford, for my Fairmont.

Stefan, this carpet/interior site has visual selection from way back (50's and up) by brand. Might be worth putting in the Site Links:

    http://qualitycarinterior.com/

    And another one:
    http://www.autotrimsupply.com/

The funny thing here is that the cargo area carpets are handled under Ford Squire for the Fairmont/Zephyr/Cougar wagons. Whereas the Country Squire gets the full-meal deal. Go figure?

Well apparently my car was "vandalized" at the shop. Check out the picture below. It must have been a fan of Chevy Chase and the movie "Vacation"!

I found out it was my brother who did it and most of the customers in the shop have been rolling on the ground. I must have had 10 calls today asking me if I was lost and needed directions.

It wont be on there long since its going to get blasted soon.

I thought you guys would get a kick out of it especially "Griswold"

Griswold, I bet you are not going to make your car look like the movie car did in the scene when the hub caps and car was graffitied!

My wife Jodi is not laughin since it is going to be flatbedded to my house where my entire neighborhood will see this POS getting dumped into my garage with spray painted HONKEY LIPS on the sides.

I am going to bet most wont get it!

Ya it is funny. I got a call from my brother this am telling me that he was about to send me a pic on my phone. He said it was about my car and it wasnt good. I was guessing it caught on fire.

His bro has a wierd sense of humor, me thinks. Project cars are among the untouchables in life. The others are for each to define. I'm gonna sip mine too. This is my finishing up week.
