That one is an SX4. The guy with the lifted Eagle wagon also has a built SX4. Here's what it looked like before the transformation. It looks like he crashed into the ricer section of Autozone.

OH YEAH, thats what I'm into.....flat out rouph roads and GIVE ER SH**!!, none of this modern age NASCRAP run in a circle James Garner of the TV show Rockford Files had alot to do with AMC Ramblers and the Mohavie (spelling??) desert racing. They had some real coolfor the day AMC's
In 69 he was involved with a team that had 10 AMC Ramblers built for the Baja 500. I think a couple of them were even converted to 4x4. I believe 7 out of the 10 finished and many placed in the top 5 of their class. http://offroadaction.ca/amc-rambler-vs-baja
Damn, the BAJA...geting old, that what I ment...good thing I have 2 seeing eye dogs but I can't find them
I thought your name looked familiar. Over there, I'm EaglesRCool. I haven't posted a whole lot there, especially lately, but I must say, that is another really good forum for Eagle owners and lovers alike. And as much as I love Fords, especially BIG Fords, I've always had a liking for Eagles..... Mostly because they dared to be different and I like that. I would not mind owning one.
that's one of my old cars! and I did call it the "Fairmonster" it was a stretched early bronco chassis with a 351, C4/D20, D44, 9" I can't take credit for the original build, but I can take credit for the black steelies, 33" muds, and the sweet side-exit dual flowmaster setup
no idea, I sold it to a guy in Dallas (where I was at the time) who sold it to a guy in Waco... I would imagine it's still in TX, but I bought it from a guy in Missouri who had a jet turbine mud racer! LOL he trailered it down and sold it to me for $2500... this was ~6yrs ago or so. It needed a fair amount of work (mostly front end), but it was a really cool platform. it was a marriage of a salt-rotted fairmont and an early bronco with a salt rotted body... I'm a fairmont lover, a wagon lover, and (being white trash) a 4x4 car lover! I had to have it! LOL the first model car I ever built was a 69 camaro and there were a few different build options... factory style, drag racer, or 4x4... obviously I built it as a 4x4
