    Hey Fox...

Lets see...right now it's getting the rear tailgate and window worked on. The channel was really messy and I knew it needed the work. We filled in the roof rack holes (with metal- but left the chrome runners) and should be getting the cowl hood put on at the same time. We have a 8.5", 3.42 rear end to go under her and some new 'spension parts. Like springs, shocks and drilled and slotted rotors. Had the carb reworked/rebuilt and she runs like a TOP. The new flowmasters sound SWEEEEET!!!
Other than that not much... The boys are having fun driving it!!! They think they're helping me ferry it back and forth... RIGHT!!!
Still looking for the rear weatherstripping for the tailgate/window seal...No joy in that!!!
Been helping Momma teach on Monday nites,(that ones killing me:taz: )but...when duty calls...What can you do???
Sounds like you've been making progress!!!
    So where are the pics???
Did you name that big RED mistress yet???
I'll be waiting to see her float down to FLA...
    Later,
    Bruce

I am pretty sure he was using 4 guage wire, it could have been 2, but I dont think so. Fox if you are interested in getting rid of any of the stuff let me know. I can make a good home for it :)

The amps are prob worth some money, the subs are a little out dated, like a few years.....those kickers where a cheap mans stereo. Ok sound, but have come a long way since. I would love to get my hands on those fuses and distrubution blocks though, those are worth some decent money....if you can take pics of everything you have and email it to me,I can pretty much throw a price on it all that way you can sell it how you see fit!

I am sure you have about 500 bucks of total stuff there, maybe a little less....but that gives you an idea of what you are working with.......maybe 300 to be safe....

Well I know what that stuff goes for honestly. It is decent equipment and should be easy to sell. I was just giving you an Idea, I think he had 2 amps in there a mono amp and a 4 channel, that is a great setup for a good sound system. Too bad you live so far away I would have come and hooked it up the correct way, so you could have enjoyed it!

We got it up and running fine, Amp. I'm just not a fan of all that stuff running all over inside my wagon. There are, apparently, some after market speakers in the rear because they don't fit in there right. And I can't get the plastic covers to close over them all the way. I will probably take those out and replace them with stock too. I have not yet checked in the front doors to see if they are after market or stock. The guy did a lousy job of hooking the system up. There were loose wires everywhere. It's the ZX 850.4 amp and some HiPhonics speakers and the various other stuff you mentioned.

Yeah, I would call crutchfield and see what speakers should fit, I think they are 6x9's I think he installed components so they could be an odd setup.....I can understand why the guy closed his Audio Shop now lol.....the stuff he did, I could have done in my back yard!

Oh and I still have not returned his garage door opener......woops.....:rofl2:

LOLOL....well....I'm glad you didn't in a way. I have tried to contact him several times to get some of the things he "forgot" to include and to ask him a few questions about his detailer etc. He has not answed me once.

Amp....I'm going to be calling you one of these days...(new number?). I am having problems on deciding what to do with the LT1 build. The cost per hp is WAY high. Not like the old days. I would like to let you know what I have been thinking and the cost. The cost has bugged my eyes!

I looked into an LS6 swap. I can get a new GM long block for $3200 which is a great deal. But, when it's all said and done, the swap would cost like 10K. Have to get a donor etc.
