I might.....MIGHT Buy Myself A 1989 Mercury Colony Park Wagon This Weekend..

....Or at the lastest, early next week. It looks nice from the pictures and I've been in contact with the owner and we're going to shoot for this weekend to hook up so I can see it and drive it. If all goes well, I'll FINALLY have another wagon.

Geeee....I feel like a junkie......"Wagon Withdrawals".


Anyway, this is the one I hope to buy. What do you guys think?

those look like factory alloys with centers

 

I can't tell if they are, or not. The car is too far away in the picture for my eyes to see that clearly. I'd be happy if they were though. But I have a feeling they're not. I think it's what Jeffery said...Factory alloys......Dirty, factory alloys that is.

 

Thanks Krash. Yeah, it's listed on craigslist.....In New Milford, Ct. Lucky for me, the owner works in Danbury and told me that he would meet me there instead of me having to drive all the way out to New Milford. That cuts the travel time in half for me. Nice guy.

The owner of that Merc just wrote me back. I asked him a few questions regarding the condition of the interior, leaks, dents, yada, yada......here's what he said.

No Leaks.
No dents
Front Mats are shot. (BFD)
Right front disk is warped
A/C don't work (but he'll throw in a kit he bought. (I imagine a recharge kit)
A couple of power windows don't work.

Can't wait to see it.
