Funny you should say that. I remember back in the early-mid '70's me and my friends Donald & Randy used to sit in our "used" 1960's cars and complain...."They Just Don't Make Um Like They Used To." Refering to the cars of the '50's. To us, the cars of the 1970's were JUNK!

NOW!....We'd give anything for them. 20/20 hindsight my friend. I remember when I sold my 1968 Mustang GT for $900.00 . WHO KNEW?

The last time I went, it took me 4 hours to go from page 1 to 81. So I started today at the last page, posted only a few days ago, Page 136, and went backwards. I'm at 129. 7 pages. even if my 'puter and connection aren't highspeed, it fun to look them over and take my time.:rofl2:

I bought a 1965-1/2 Mustang fastback coupe for $500 from a guy, drove it for 6 months and figured I got a good deal, when another guy bought from me for $400, in 1977! Dumb or what!

You can't even find a junker fastback for under $5K and the Eleanors are up to 6 figures! So it goes...

No, no, no, no, no..........................you can't do this to me (and many others I suspect).

I spent hours and hours on that site from the original posting. It was very difficult to wean myself from it and get back to the Forums, eating, drinking, and my wife (in that order I might proudly add).

It is like being a former smoker I suspect. You are doing just fine and then someone offers you one, or lights one up right in front of you, just after a very satisfying meal. One puff and that's it, your good intentions are, well, up in smoke. Arrrgggghhhhhh

You can't do this to us. You have to stop. You are a pusher, a distributor of evil stuff. We have to stop you. We will have to turn you in to the Narc's (what is the internet term for a junkie?). You will have an internet record as an evil man. Your neighbors will force you to move. Your parts supplier will drop your discount. The wrecking yards you formerly frequented will crush the cars you frequent in their yards.

Don't do this to yourself (and to us). I've been "clean" for almost two weeks:162:. What will the kids think? (not that I have any).
