I'm all wet, from the drool. I did this to a 1962 Greenbriar Corvair pickup (rampside). Didn't know there was even a website for the conversions! I dropped a 283 SBC into that puppy, after shortening the wheelbase equal to the tread. Popped the wheels in any gear, including Reverse!

I was just thinking that back then, we'd go to a Used car lot, and criticize the cars with all kinds of nasty remarks, and now we drool at the glimpse of some old iron with a nostalgic look. Makes me wonder if I'd feel the same way in one of today's used car lots.
