We got 11 inches here in Moneta, VA. That's a whole lot for us. Haven't got this much since '96. The last 2 or 3 years we only got about 3 or 4 inches all year. A lot of people really don't know how to drive in it. Cars have been abandon and others in ditches, now snow bound by the plowed snow. I bet to our friends in the north, this is close to nothing.

It's where I'm from originally, A1. I had serious and sudden health problems in FL and came back for the UW doctors who are some of the best in the nation. Not to mention I got financially wiped out by those health problems.

11" isn't much for jersey. The problem here is for the last decade we don't get much snow in mass quintities... Instead an inch here or there. When we get 6" or more everyone drives all carefull and whatnot for about a day til they get overconfident and then the crashes start... We got about 8-12" here depending on exact location and everyone freaks out... Sad, but no one here remembers how to drive in snow...

Is it that old guys who had catastrophic illnesses are attracted to wagons or the other way around? I personally went through visions of going on long cruises down the highway with my wife at my side in the Safari while I was going through my treatments to keep myself motivated and I credit that, and a loving pet who kept an eye on me while the wife went to work, for my survival. My human-vet is also a car guy. And since then we've done just that with the wagon - on the road, found the Airstream to hook up behind, and we are doing what I envisioned so many days.

Now that is cool. WAY cooler than any amount of snow in my books. ;)

However, for those of you with the white fluffy stuff on the roads you have our sincerest sympathy :rofl2: Not that we don't get snow, but we don't get it often, nor does it stay long, and certain wagon owners who live a bit closer to the border than I do probably get even less snow if any at all. :banghead3: And I only live fifteen minutes north of said person(s).(y)
