Didn't care for the looks of the LS and I have never been in one or driven one. Unfamiliar with them. Never liked the looks so never had an interest. Don't even know what engine they had in them. I liked the VII's because they had the 302HO and the entire drive train was a Mustang with all the upgraded goodies. You could strap on a few after market things and it would FLY and still handle like it was on rails!
the LS handled like it was on rails. it was made to compete with the BMW 5 series and actually had a better weight balence. the only thing was, ford never changed the car. never added more HP and never offered the 5speed with the V8. the engines were a 3.0 v6 and a 3.9 V8. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lincoln_LS
It makes me sad that there are so few of the VII's left anymore. I was a member over at the Mark VII forum but hardly anyone there knew anything. These cars are disappearing and it's a damn shame. If I could find a cherry I would snap it up and store it in a temp controlled environment for awhile. Trouble is I would have to find a cherry from an old lady or something. The enthusiasts want a fortune for junk.
