http://www.flixxy.com/snow-vehicle-concept.htm I wonder if I can get a set of these for the Fairmont?
My uncle had one of these, he used it to plow snow with. He had a welding shop and got it in trade for some work. It was a kit that was put on an old Farmall F-14. Once he died 20 some odd years ago, it went up in the auction his wife had. I have no idea where it ended up or if it is even in use anymore.
I've never seen that before. That is brilliant! They have so much surface area that floatation in the deepest powder should be little problem. I want a set of these for my wagon.
My dad told me that in the days of the Ford Model Ts there were companies that built these as kits for the Ts.
I came close to buying this one off Egay a coupe years back....but we dont get enuff snow in western Canada to justify it
Yeah, but how cool that would be on the few days of the year that you could drive it. That would really turn some heads. 2nd image is broken. No clicky.
I kind of prefer the "no snow" option myself. I really struggle with a set up like this on the Safari. Now the Chevelle..............naw, my wife would kill me. And who goes out in the snow anyway? Isn't that the time when you put your feet up, drink something relevant, and read a good book, post on the Stationwagonforums, and search for that ever elusive perfect wagon to add to the collection? Barry
no Barry...thats why I got the LED Zephyr...sideways on the turns ....(i used to race Sprint cars)....
If you go to Victoria's Oak Bay, you can even have that drink under a palm tree! Unless they came down. Can't recall who the brave soul was who planted them. Anyway, you guys do have some pretty countryside. I like your style Barry.
