    Thanks.

The cops really love/hate that Buick. Problem is, they don't know what to do, ticket me or arrest me for messing with the environment.

As others said, depends on the car, and it depends on what you start with. I'd love to hotrod my wagon, but it survived 37 years and still looks good, so it stays stock. :)
My cutlass on the other hand, was bought with 150k miles on it. It was previously wrecked, hacked together, and neglected. It's getting a new drivetrain (everything) yet the body is goign 100% stock. I MAY go for a set of wheels, but I do like the look of the wire caps, and have another set in 15", so I might just get some 15x7 steelies and slap the other, identical, caps on.

I am totally against changing anything on a wagon and for keeping it exactly as it was originally designed and built.

Yes, the extra doors were manufacturer's defects and just had to be removed for the sake of "correctness". You just can't count on assembly workers to not make sloppy mistakes.

Nobody likes a frankenstein car. What makes you happy may not be what anybody else is into. For me at least, if I want to off my car for whatever reason .... Ive sold cars before due to financial needs for example. If I had done anything to alter or change the cars ive owned and later sold, id have never gotton what they were worth. I could have added dubs and a kicking stereo to the Monte carlo, the Camero, the Vega , and the umteen other cars ive owned.
In short if the car wasnt born with it included, forget it. Right down the AM radio in my 65 Mercury I have now.

I don't know if I'd call that a Frankenstein. It still looks like it could have been a showroom model.
