Great to hear. Slow progress is still progress. Keep up the good work. :thumbs2:

Thanks Orthmann. It feels good to finally see results after an eternity of slow progress. Pretty much once I replace some seals it’ll be ready to drive around. But first I need to repair the balcony, do other vehicle maintenance, declutter the garage, etc. I know everyone here relates.

Dang, another two months and still on top of the list. I’m starting to think maybe the entire rest of the forum is already done with their projects! Well, got the balcony rebuilt, small remodel of a bathroom, bedroom patched and painted, sons car was having multiple issues but is sorted (for now), wife's car got a new water pump, and my daily got a new thermostat. Never a dull moment around here. As usual not a lot of physical progress but another mental hurdle cleared. Cracked open this trans and started poking around. Turns out they aren’t so scary after all. Mostly just a cleanup to prep for seals, should be slapped together and in the car again soon. Pics, because that’s a lot of words to say not much progress.

    Looking good.
Times change. Things used to be a lot more active around here. Now it's like a library on a Wednesday afternoon during summer break.

I believe that’s a lot of forums unfortunately. Shame.

Yep. I think in many ways social media has replaced the forums for a lot of people.
