I remember as a teenager riding around in the back seat of my cousin's turquoise '63 Monza Spyder convertible. It was cramped and windy and cold back there. This was early summer, but it was the San Francisco peninsula......

 

If you weren't carefull, you could have ended up riding in the back of one of these, instead

 

A prototype

 

That 'prototype' posted above by Doghead is I believe the one that was the 'prototype' for the Monza trim variant, and eventually given to Bunkie Knudsen's daughter. It's in other private hands these days.....

 

Does anyone know what the dark car is between the Buick and the falcon?

 

I'm guessing, a mid-Sixties Ford Cortina

 

I think you're referring to the Peugeot 404 - mid 60's - mid 70's....? Not sure on years it was sold.
