Got my cooling system flushed out along with new hoses, thermostat and new OEM thermostat housing. Then got my supplies out to compound, buff, and polish the hood which came out well thanks to white acrylic enamel. The car then went down to an informal car get together held in the Livery in Danville. Mainly a place for those with money to show off their Porsche, Ferrari, and so forth. Also some high end restorations of older cars. Neither interest me as the first group is obvious and the second group didn't do the work themselves. Every now and then a survivor shows up like a 72 Mach I whose owner I sought out when I saw the car. Now my 73 Polara has been done there once and attracted the older crowd as the only full size 70's car ever there. The Ambassador wagon went down this time and there were three fellows at my door before I got out of the car. A wagon and American Motors at that. How rare can you get?

prepped all door gaskets with Honda grease, best grease for plastics and gaskets; makes them like new and lasts.
Many car buddy's now use it too on their cars, old and new.
Look for Shin-Etsu silicone grease online.

I'm starting to wonder if I have an addiction to the wagon, all are M.B. parts.
I have another order due to arrive Wednesday.
