what amazing about those old pictures is the difference in 10 years of how cars looked. Some cars now you really have to look to see a difference between a 2014 and a 2024.
Ah the ole Famous Barr store. Is that in south county? Kinda forgot. I remember it was a real treat, my aunt used to get 2 pounds of cashews from the counter there. They were always out in a crystal dish. They had a taste of their own!
Of course. I should have remembered that. My Grandparents lived in Clayton, but they were gone when I was a baby. But I do vaguely remember that store.
The building is still there, I don’t know who occupying it but I do drive by it every once in a while
