I love that you all have more projects then I do. I was feeling a bit uncomfortable that hubby got the Cavalier when that money should be going on the wagon. You guys have eased that feeling, thank you. I am excited about the convertible and looking forward to driving it this summer.

One question...where DO you keep all those cars?

It was cheap, like derby guy cheap and 5 minutes from my house so as soon as I saw it on Offer Up I jumped on it. 4 Dr with a horrible silver paint job but originally Q4 turquoise. All the trim is in the trunk I'm told. Runs but not well. No battery in it so I haven't started it or checked anything out yet. Good AZ title too!

That looks great. Great find. Excuse my ignorance, but what is it? We were trying to guess. I'm thinking it's Plymouthish???

Sorry, it's a 1969 Dodge Monaco. Put the front bumper back on today and aligned the hood properly. Put a new distributor in it and got it to run on a prime. Now going to put a fuel pump in and hopefully take it on a test drive.

Nice score if it runs as advertised. Will you be doing an electronic ignition conversion?

After a carburetor rebuild, thermostat and a set of plugs and wires she runs great! And I threw on some chrome wheels I had. Next up is check the brake system as it shimmy pretty bad when applied. Even washed it today.

The last month or so I've been working on this 1970 Barracuda for a customer. Starting out it was going to be a quick replace the trunk floor and leave it as is like on Roadkill Garage. Then the customer decided he wanted wider wheel tubs in it. So along with that the leaf springs have to be relocated too. Then he decided to have me replace both quarter panels. Now all the sheet metal work is done and next is the spring relocation kit install. Now he's wanting to paint the whole car.

It's amazing, that you could still find body parts and a trunk floor for something that old. I hope, those items aren't imports at least from the wrong coast.
Here's some pep audio/visual, in case you get caught in a rut
