I don't know if this is the correct place to put this thread - obviously it is not auto related in the least- but I thought it would be fun to post photos of our pets. I have 3 cats, two calico sisters and an orange and white male named Baxter (see attached photo). Somehow, I figure wagon people are more likely dog people (big masculine dogs like Labs or German Shepherds, or maybe a tough looking dog like a Bulldog). I could be wrong!
What I drive is about the size of a Shepard's dog house. Bugs feel at hoam in there, though. If anywhere, the Lounge sub-forum is the propper place for non-wagon threads
Very nice Psych. I have two dogs, but neither of them are big or tough. The first is Tucker. He is a mutt of debated origin. Everyone says he looks like a fox. I think he looks a bit like a Gremlin or Salacious Crumb depending on the time of year. Then there is Lilly. She's a puppy, also a mutt of undetermined origin. We got her in July. Tucker was not amused. He's slowly warming up to her though. Tucker is 13 years old. He's in good health, but we know that inevitably his time will come. We wanted to bring a new dog into the family before that happens so they could learn from him. So far it seems to be working out well. We didn't have much luck with dogs when I was growing up. They were always outside, usually wild, and had to be tied up. I never understood people who said that their pets were like a part of the family. Then Tucker came into our lives. Now I understand.
Tucker reminds me of border collies which are up there with my favorite dawgs. Around here, people adopt stray dogs of which they pick up on vacation in countries like Spain and Greece where they've more than often been dealt lousy cards. Spading and neutering is about as good as unknown there, to the point where even feral packs can endanger not only livestock
We got them both from the local pound. A required part of the process is to have them spayed/neutered. They won't let them go without them getting fixed. I know it helps, but there is still a huge population of strays in our area unfortunately.
Thanks for participating in this thread Orthmann! Your dogs are adorable, look so sweet. Is that your truck too, is it a '77 Ford Ranger?
