    ^^^ About #31064.....

    I thought I had developed a knack for identifying an old picture of somewhere in Southern California, just by the way it 'looks'. My first look at the one above, I was thinking it was from somewhere on the east coast. But then I spotted something. On top of the white 2-story building about a block down, is a billboard. The billboard shows 'KNXT 2', which happens to have been the original call letters for the CBS network TV station in the Los Angeles area. So, I'm guessing this is Sunset Bl, just a bit east of the main Hollywood area.
