With a face like that, reminds me of my favorite M*A*S*H TV show scene:

So Hawkeye and Trapper decide to work on a Sergeant's military working dog, that was hit in combat. During surgery, Hawkeye asks the Sergeant, what the (male) dog's name is.
    "Cupcake."
    "Really?!"

So if I ever get myself a dog like that one, it'll be named Cupcake.

Her name is Mila. 5 months old. She was a bit too active for a young family.
Her and Arlo are great together. E44DB2B5-64B1-4ECC-89B0-FBD576873AB3.jpeg

We decided to try to help with an all points bulletin spread across our area to rescue a boxer.
    It I didn’t work out.
We were successful in getting the dog to accept us with Arlos help. The boxer is 2 yrs. not trained or housebroken. She also has a tremor issue and was never around others.
Long story short… we saw the disposition of both dogs come to peace and understanding. We were told that she looks for him when she goes outside and he was doing the same at our house.
We weren’t approved. We are blessed with Mila and her new lifelong buddy Arlo. 98BD4817-FBC6-4461-9F6F-C62F0A858618.jpeg DE2DFC34-A816-4E0D-8EFA-A3EA2FE266FB.png

Halloween was a big hit here tonight. We close off the entrance to our small community of 39 homes so kids can be safe, these are all small acreages but the houses are all on the street with the majority of the property behind the homes, so it's a nice safe place to go. Good street lights but not too much light to make it weird and they are the soft yellow led lights and spaced out quite a ways. Weather was good, tons of little ones, all excited about their costumes and wanting to show them off. We were giving out two assorted candies per kid and we ran out of 400 candies (less a few I tested to ensure they quality was good enough for little kids to eat) by 7:45. It was great fun listening to my wife make them sing or something to get their candy, and the comments from the little ones about their costume. A large number of the parents were also dressed in costumes, some pretty elaborate including one in a massive dinosaur outfit, it had to be 9' tall. Very well done. We get a lot of kids from the surrounding farming community and then others who come from the town and some other small communities nearby. It's nice to see kids out having fun and doing something that doesn't include a phone or screen of some type.

All the businesses in Somerville give out candy at their own expense from 3;00 to 5:00 pm on Halloween. My wife volunteers at the library amd they had 250 pre-prepared bags ready. They quickly ran out and had to go to plan B as 478 kids came thru. You can bet that they hit all the merchants too. She said some of the kids' bags were so full that they had to drag them. I would call that greed or entitlement as most of the parents allowed it.
