OK, I need something 'splained....... On that car carrier pic above, with all the Hudsons, the upper deck appears to be in a fixed position. How are the cars on the lower level removed? It looks impossible to me.
If you click on that image, it will enlarge to the point where those hydraulic cylinders attached to the rear of that upper bridge will visually reveal a clue to the answer you are awaiting
I know how, but what I can't understand, is if the trailer is already fully loaded with four, why is a fifth on the ramps, as if it's getting loaded/unloaded?
I see those, but I still don't understand what MOVES to allow the bottom cars out. The upper deck looks to me to be fixed in position. But maybe I'm wrong. Didn't even notice that, until you mentioned it..... With the guy coming out of the cab, I'm thinking it's staged as a joke for the auto transport guys.
As far as the bottom deck's concerned, 1) I'm sure the upper deck is hinged, and 2) I bet the bottom deck more or less matches the loading dock height.
