There was more, but apparently I wasn't supposed to be in that section of the wrecking yard. The sign that said KEEP OUT had fallen over. I was shooed out by an employee who sheepishly put the sign back up as we were walking out.
I have seen this one before. It may have been restored and they did a remake of that scene in photographs.
They made their debut in 1955. I don't know if they started out producing wagons so soon. The ones you see more often are likely imports circumventing federal safety standards, as soon as they've superceeded a certain age Or in real death, as is the case here
Can you still buy Saab oil, or will any 2 cycle oil work? I had 2 customers years ago with Saabs. One was a sedan and the other was a Sonnet. The Sonnet belonged to an airline stewardess. She was hot but the car was a PITA to work on.
