All the cars are a little strange. I had seen the main car on a tv restoration show but don’t remember what it is.

Went to the auction bought some I didn’t know I needed, like a row of tools, license plates and auto parts for 5.00. Didn’t even know this was in it until after I bought it.

Same difference. Expensive cruddy coffee, expensive cruddy eats. Dunkin' used to be good, like Timbits, but now, corporate twaddling.

Good news! It started raining on Friday and hasn't stopped. It really helped the fire fighters in the Halifax area. A few areas have reopened so residents were able to return to their communities. Some would not be returning to their homes, about 200 homes and other structures have been lost.

The Shelburne Fires are still proving to be challenging.

Yesterday, I was dropping a friend off at the grocery store, when a black woman around my age, in her sedan, pulled up and shouted, "What year is your Ranchero?" And I replied "1979! Her name is Babe, Babe the Blue Ox!" She laughed and said, "My daddy owned one, a lot like yours, when I was growing up!" Then she rolled away as she shouted, "Bye, Babe!"
For a dilapidated car that has yet to let me down, I never felt more proud about any vehicle I've owned, than I did yesterday about Babe.
