I wouldn't know. I don't have any who are so inclined. Gotta figure out how to do everything alone, which at age 78 often takes some creativity. One grows weaker with age. I couldn't break the bolt loose the other day to replace the pulley on my belt tensioner. Instead of wasting time trying, I just bought a whole tensioner assembly instead.

It's in my buddies shop. Hopefully it will be done soon.

We are running into more problems. This car is fighting us at every turn. It was supposed to be an easy job. It's been at my buddies shop for over a week now.

I'm sorry to hear that. It can definitely be disheartening.

At least I got to drive it out of the shop to park it in the lot. The B&M flex plate came in yesterdays mail. I'll drop it of to my buddy Monday morning. Earlier in the week the new Trans mount came in. The one I bought earlier this year was junk. The rubber failed and the metal bracket was resting on the bottom of the crossmember. Since I bought it so long ago I couldn't return it. After all the work I did installing the transmission with all the cables and linkages and such, it has to come back out.

GOOD NEWS GOOD NEWS! I got the call from my buddy. He's says it's all set and I can pick it up. The new trans mount is excellent and the B&M flex plate took care of the vibration. I'll update later after I drive it.

Been driving it. Still some bugs to work out. Ordered new o-ring and seal for the distributor. It's leaking from there and dripping on the header. It definitely has a lot more power. I took my dog and grandson to a local cruise night today. It's coming together.

    That's fantastic.
That's what it's all about my friend.
