    I was on a drive towards Naches the other day. I was actually looking for a car that Nathaniel had spotted from the highway.
    I came upon this one close to a place I had decided to stop for lunch. I don't know anything about the car or who the car belongs to. Just thought it was a nice clean example of a car that used to be everywhere and now is rarely seen.

    2005 Chevrolet crew cab. Duramax/Allison. I bought it new and it’s been our family hauler as well as my work truck. It’s been very good to us!

    The hardest part is that she was with me every step of the day.
    I didn’t realize she had lived with us for 13 years 5 months.
    She slept by my bed, we had coffee together every morning and she was waiting at the door when I got home.
    I guess it’s the expectation of seeing her and her not being there that throws me.
    Thanks to all for your respect. (I’ve found that I have over 900 photos on my phone of her).

    My sincerest condolences. One of the saddest facts of our existence is that we end up outliving our fur children. My cat Bucky is fourteen, and previous to him was Dusty, who had to be put down due to full kidney failure at 16.

    Sorry for your loss. Pets like this are more than just pets. They are family. And it's never easy to say goodbye to a family member.
