    Two red Sunbeam Alpines, similar to the red '60 Alpine I killed by attempting to rebuild its engine in 1970.......

    In the mid 80s a friend of mine had a red Sunbeam Alpine, maybe it’s one of those two it’s only about 20 miles away. It had a blown motor so he replaced it with one out of a 70s Toyota Corolla.

    That's in Chicago, which had, at one time, many railroad stations as well as Midway Field by WW II. Parmeter (Parmenter?) was a taximeter service that ran individuals and groups between all points.
