'The History Guy' is Lance Geiger, and he has a website and You Tube Channel where he posts usually 3 videos a week on varied topics. Today's topic was the history of STATION WAGONS. It's fairly detailed, and pretty accurate, as far as I can tell. This might be a good video for our NEW members to watch.........
In the "Post ALMOST anything you want thread" thread. I didn't see the need to start a new thread for my post.
interesting video. thanks for posting. i was born 1964. My dad had a 65 Plymouth wagon, then 67 Chrysler, a few different cars, then a 75 Buick Estate Wagon. so those are the wagons i grew up with.
Sadly, I was only a baby/toddler when we had a '56 2-door Country Sedan. When Dad was heading to Vietnam in early '68, the wagon was due for new tabs, but the underside rust caused it to fail inspection. So Dad gave it to the eldest son of the farmer next door to use in his agri-mech classes.
