Sounds like a lot of mixed emotions going on here. I hope you have a safe trip and fun at the wedding. Sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. However, I'm sure your friend's mom will really appreciate your visit.
I am somewhat confused about your "home". Hope all goes well.

"Home" used to be in Washington. But in moving to Texas, in the act of making changes in my life, I've made Texas my home now.

It sounds like your home is in Washington, but you live in Texas.

Yeah, I get that, but I've had to make that change, in order to affect change in my life. Texas is home now.

Someone who shouldn't breed. The only one more stupid than him was the idiot a couple years ago who lost a Chevelle off the trailer in Everett, WA because it was not even tied down at all!

That van can't have that much inside. It's not sitting all that low.

It looks like it is too tall to fit into the van standing up. What I want to know is how he got it up onto the roof.

    Verrrrrrry carefully.....

And yeah, it looks too tall, and possibly can't be laid on its side. But a small trailer or a pickup truck is an alternative.

It was a refrigerator, eventually they laid it on its back but drove off with it still on the roof after a short test drive around the parking lot…
