Street Spotting

Busy Week End!

 

Jack, I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw that Kaiser Manhattan. My wife's Grandpa had one just like it and for a split second I thought it was his old car.

 

Also, I want this:

 

it is sitting in a collection outside Mt. Pleasant Winery in Augusta Mo.
I can go back in a couple of weeks and get better pics and info.

 

It even has the AAA sticker at the base of the windshield on the passenger's side. But upon closer inspection it's the wrong color and size.

That Manhattan is gorgeous.

 

It's a very unique car. I really enjoyed it. But, like all good things it came to an end and my Father-in-law sold it.

 

Had to deliver a 118 year old car to the Hershey auction for work today. They let me take a quick walk through the auction cars and I spotted this '59 Mercury Colony Park hardtop wagon. As I was driving out another wagon was brought in. But I didn't get a picture of that one. It was also a black woody wagon. A 59 Ford Country Squire. Wonder what they will go for in the auction this week.
