Either that or the grilled cheese sandwich at George’s is the best in town. It looks like a going out of business sale.

That was a semi-common conversion back then. Grocers, other small business owners would do that while preserving the interior to haul the family 'round.

With 75% savings their stuff must have had a heck of a mark up. Disposal sale sounded so final. Was just racking my brain to figure out what the 1940’s version of Covid was that this business couldn’t recover from. Glad to hear they’re still at it! Even though it looks like a different location. Could it have been a moving sale?

Boy the big three in one picture! Wonder how many years it took to ravage those three. The Plymouth looks like a Grand Fury!

Though I never saw anything quite like this, the photo does remind me of my very early years living in Minneapolis in the early to mid 80's.
It's probably mostly due to the fact that we had a blue 75 Impala and It snowed a lot.

Yeah growing up in the Midwest there were sure a lot of these cars creeking down the road. You could hear the snow crunching under the tires. So much rust. Sadly a lot of cars gave up the ghost to the salt gods.
